Vice President of Operations

Carolyn K. Ross is vice president of operations for TASC, Inc. of Illinois, a statewide, nonprofit case management agency that serves adults and youth with substance use and mental health disorders. Ms. Ross oversees programs that serve approximately 20,000 adults and youth annually throughout Illinois.

Ms. Ross has 25 years’ experience in the development and operation of substance abuse prevention and treatment services, criminal justice programs, and youth and family services. She has served as the executive director for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center in Rock Island, Illinois and later for the Center for Alcohol & Drug Services, Inc. in Rock Island, Illinois and Iowa.

Ms. Ross has been recognized by state legislators for her work in developing anti-gang, anti-drug programming and addressing substance abuse issues in the Chicago and Quad City areas.

Ms. Ross is currently a member of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers and the Illinois Alcoholism and Drug Dependence Association. She is the past president of the Iowa Behavioral Health Association and has served on the Co-Occurring Policy Committee led by the Iowa Department of Public Health and the Scott County Jail Advisory and Alternatives Committee.

Ms. Ross is a graduate of DePaul University.
